Baobab lets you clear local progress or permanently delete your account and associated cloud data directly in the app. Here’s exactly what each option does.
Option 1 — Clear progress on your device
In the app, open Settings → Reset game progress. This clears your tiles, streak and stats on that device. To remove the app’s local data entirely, you can also uninstall Baobab.
Option 2 — Delete your cloud data & account
In the app, open Settings → Data → Delete account. Review the warning and confirm deletion. If your account uses Sign in with Apple, Apple will ask you to authorize once more so Baobab can revoke that connection before deleting the account.

What gets deleted
- Your Baobab account, whether it is a guest account or connected to Apple or Google;
- Your synced game record — tiles woven, streak, recently seen questions, wallet and ledger, and synced settings;
- Any support correspondence, once your request is resolved.
What we may keep
We may retain limited information where required to comply with the law.
How long it takes
In-app deletion is processed immediately. A support-assisted request may take up to 30 days after verification. Deletion is permanent and can’t be undone — your progress and virtual items cannot be recovered afterwards.
